I'm here....I'm working and playing with all of my loot....

Well, I'm still here. I was hoping to have more time to blog, but it seems I am still stuck with the paper route. My absolute last day is coming up really soon though and I can't fucking wait. I have been spending a lot of time getting Sam situated. This is a really big city in general, but to someone who comes from such a small place it can be very overwhelming.

Michael has been very busy with work and other crap, so the extra chores have landed on me too. I had to spend about 2.5 hours the other day picking weeds. Our yard kept falling under "next weekend" so it was quite the mess. In any case, I think I'm back for good now.

Sam has been helping me with the paper which is greatly appreciated. I decided to give him half my pay minus gas, so he could have some money for his nasty habits and gas for his van. I didn't think I wanted him to ask me for money. It's better for him and me if he earns it.

I had the best birthday ever. I mean even as a kid, I have never had so much thought and love poured into my birthday. I also scored more loot than I have ever before. I think I even got more than at Christmas. Everyone did a fantastic job shopping for me. I felt totally loved. For the first time in a long time, I realized I finally have the kind of people I want around me. I shall celebrate them as they have celebrated me....:)

Like I said earlier I have most certainly NEVER received this much love, attention, or loot for my birthday. On my actually birthday in the morning I only had one present to open, which is what it is normally like. I never expected so many people to think of me on my birthday. I was incredibly surprised, overwhelmed (in a good way), and at peace with my birthday. We have had a very rocky road, my birthday and I. My dad almost always forgets. My half sis has never mailed me a thing, not for lack of trying I'm assuming. I don't want to relive it all, but it definitely isn't a pretty relationship. I had damn near called it quits. Well I'm sure glad I didn't....

Anyway, I'll try to put down the loot and get on the computer a little more often. Thank you so much for all thoughts, cards, gifts, and above all your love and friendship. It is something that will never be forgotten. :) I have to go play now....
