All the freaks stay up listening to AM radio at night?

AM radio: futile or freak outlet? I'm not really bagging on AM radio. I'm just...well...a little concerned. The only time I regularly listen to AM radio is during baseball season. Some times the games aren't televised so the radio is the next best thing. Recently while Sam was visiting he told me he only received an AM signal on his car stereo due to an attempted stealing of the deck.
My first reaction was, "Oh Shit, that sucks". My second reaction (more over a thought) was their has to be something on there if he continues to listen to it. I started praying that he wasn't going to regurgitate conservative propaganda back to me. I mean every time I have listened to AM radio, it hasn't been a pleasant experience. It's usually some middle aged white man babbling on about the dickhead liberals. He'll get all heated at the thought of any environmental issues being focused on. I can just see those political shit bags breathing hard into the microphone all red faced. Yeah, that's not for me. Mud slinging isn't quite my style.

Thank God Sam breaks into a conversation starting with the words, "Yeah, I used to buy into that shit, than I realize they were always examining the democratic/liberal point of view with a magnifying glass, but never discussed any of the current problems with their stances on the issues....." It was a quick and painless. He moved on to what he was really trying to tell me.

He said there was a show on about 1:00 a.m. called Coast to Coast. Like T.J. Maxx it was apparently hit or miss. He said it was some times really fascinating others dull as hell. Being that I'm game for any thing once, I turned it on.

The first night we listened to it they had some sort of physic on, Joseph Jacobs. He was blubbering on about events to expect in 2005. It's fascinating stuff to listen to, but it's not something that I personally believe in. Now don't go getting pissed at me. I have an open mind, but as of current, it's not my personal belief. It does make for fascinating and entertaining listening. At the end of the show he was plugging his books, website, and phone line. He was saying that on his web site you can find your birth card. I thought, "Hey that might be fun."

I forgot about it until the next day when I went to run my route and my station was on AM. That night's show was about the prophecies of Nostradamus. I was excited. I like reading about him so this show had the potential to be very interesting. Unfortunately the had a leading authority that was a long winded, indirect, non-answering Englishman. It was all I could do to make it through half of the show. He ruined it. I popped in my mix cd and forgot about it.

When I got home this morning I remembered the psychic guys website. I thought that I might go and check it out. I wanted to see what my birth card was. Apparently I am the 4 of Spades. Not a card I would have randomly picked for myself. I would have probably picked a heart or a diamond. Anyway, according to the generalities of the suit (which is all I could get without purchasing a book, calling for a reading, or any other monetary gain for Mr. Jacobs) I am:Four of Spades: The Card of Security and Satisfaction

The Four of Spades is the card of satisfaction and protection through hard work. They have one of the most fortunate life paths in terms of money and success and usually enjoy the work they do. Their Saturn card, the Ace of Diamonds, tells us that even though they are fortunate, they usually worry about money anyway, and this can interfere with their own success if not checked. The Ten of Hearts in Mercury usually gets them instant acceptance at social occasions and they make good communicators or speakers. Fours can be very stubborn and the four of Spades has the right to be, with the Ten of Clubs Karma Card. They know a lot and must live by their truth. The Ten of Diamonds in Venus gives them wealthy friends but they should not place too much emphasis on money with their choice of friends. They usually have a good constitution and health is best cared for by natural methods. They are a worker card and it is in their work that they find true peace and satisfaction. Often they will align themselves with a humanitarian mission and find great satisfaction there.

I think this is interesting, but I have a premonition should stick to my mp3 player...
