About blogging...
We all started a blog for different reasons. I myself didn't even know blogging existed until Michael told me he had created one. I thought it would be fun to have one, but I didn't really expect to use it that much. I pretty much say and do what is on my mind, so I didn't really feel as though I needed a journal to express my thoughts.
What I did need:
A place to ask myself the stupid questions I wonder about. (i.e. toilet paper direction, the origins of the word yogurt, what the fuck is the matter with people...)
A place to express anger and malcontent with people, objects, concepts etc.
I started blogging for the above reasons. It never occurred to me that someone would actually read my blog. I sure am glad that they did though. I am addicted now. I feel like I am meeting people who share similar thoughts, grievances, frustrations, jubilations, and so on. I only wish that I could be lucky enough to find a real live person here who communicates like that. Arizona has proven a shallow wasteland for good friends. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I haven't come across many.
Isn't it amazing that we will share all of our thoughts and feelings with a computer screen, but not with other people?
