Road Trip?!?!?

I finally cracked 100 miles on my mountain bike computer the day before yesterday. I haven't had the odometer on my bike for long. It makes me wonder how many miles I put on my bike before I got it. When you think about 100 miles that seems like a lot. It seems like a road trip.

I need a good road trip. Not on my bike of course, but to Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Santa Maria, or many of the other places in the near vicinity. Michael was talking about going to Vegas last night. He looked up reservations at Mandalay Bay. It looks as if the cheapest night is $109. This is probably a good deal, but I can,t see myself spending that much money on accommodations. I go to Vegas for two things; to drink and gamble. I have already looked at the neato sights. I think I have seen most of what it has to offer. It would be nice to stay at Mandalay Bay, but I'm already sweating money. This tells me that Vegas is not the best vacation spot for me. Michael and I are on an extremely tight budget. If I went to Vegas, I would want to stay somewhere like the Hilton. At the Hilton I pretty much stay free from all the gambling comps I have. I really would like to go, but I don't think it is a good idea.

So I am day dreaming about taking a road trip some place else. Hmm.... Albuquerque has my dad there, Santa Maria has my grandparents, Los Angeles has been done several times, no Mexico,.... where do I go?

I should look at a map to see what other cities are near by. I know I am forgetting some place good. If I can't find anything I guess it'll be back to the bike.
