Weekend...

Is it bad that I am already looking forward to next weekend?

So I know Michael hasn't blogged in a while. He's been super busy at work and well today is his first day at a new site. So you can imagine what he's going through. I can assure you that he will be back sometime soon. He's told me on countless occasions that he misses blogging. Lately even the weekends have allowed us no time...

Friday: I can't even remember what the hell we did, how sad is that?

Saturday: We woke up and decided that we were going to go to Starbucks. We went and enjoyed some snacks. After that we decided that we were going to go bowling. Omg...that shit has gotten expensive. It's $4.00 per pair of shoes and $4.00 per game per person. Did I mention I totally suck at bowling? I love it, but I'm so bad at it. So we paid for our shoes and before we even had them laced up Michael was at the bar getting us some liquor. We bowled and I'm ashamed to say I bowled a 97...told ya I was bad. When we went to pay for our bowling and cocktails the stupid machine wouldn't take our money. This lady kept trying to tell us that we were going to have to go to an atm, but luckily the manager came by and let us off the hook totally! Score!

After bowling Michael suggested we go to another bar...(I think he was trying to get me liquored up). I told him I needed something to eat. We agreed that we would go to The Siamese Cat. It's an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Once we got there it was closed for lunch though...:( So we ended up going to Plaid. Plaid is a college restaurant that serves each dish with a choice of tofu or chicken. It has a great atmosphere and some really eclectic dishes. I got lemongrass stir fry and Michael ordered the soba noodle stir fry....but like the true gentleman he is he switched with me because I thought his tasted better.

We then headed for the batting cages. This is the second weekend in a row we've gone. Last week we did slow pitch soft ball...not this week...holy shit we moved up to fast pitch. It was really hard, but a lot of fun. We thought we might join a co-ed softball league in the fall so we wanna look good.:)

Next we decided since we were dehydrated we should go to a bar. We ended up stopping at a bar simply called "Lounge". It turned out that the lounge was actually part of a German restaurant that we had eaten at before. I knew they were going to have excellent beer. Michael and I got drunk and hung out with several people. We even had to order something to sober us up. Michael drove us home and on the way we spotted a bar close to our house...yes...it was a country bar, but we decided we needed to go and check it out. You know....for future use. So we had yet some more cocktails...I'm beginning to sound like a lush.

Finally we got home...and it started to rain. I walked around the block for fun...see what a loser I am. Then Michael and I got the munchies so we went to A&M to pick up a couple of grilled chicken Caesar salads. Boy....what a day.

Sunday: We spent most of the day trying to clean up red gatorade that Sam spilled all over our beautiful grey carpet. We watched The Exorcist special edition and hung out. The word of the day was definitely cleaning...

So I hope you enjoyed the recap and I hope your weekend was as good....:)
