Chores...

Well it's only 8:00 a.m. and the chores and favor asking has already kicked in. My mother called me this morning wanting to know if I will help her run her girlfriend's paper route. My mother was supposed to get a paper route and we were going to share it. I mean I would roll the papers and she would throw them. I can't do the throwing part of it because of my back. That was the plan three months ago. Things change. Well she sneakily got a route and her and Janie(her girlfriend) are supposed to do it. She now is saying that her and Janie were going to "learn it" and then involve me. What? Well guess what? I think she's lying. I think she knew she wouldn't have to split the money if Janie did it with her. Fucking Greedy Bitch. Now she's saying it was planned that way. She never consulted with me before taking the route. If you were going to accept a job that requires two people wouldn't you inform you partner about the route, schedule, pay, and how to's before accepting the position. Hey, I'm no dummy.

Here's my predicament. Janie is a really good person. She is not that bright though. She has an interview with the Sheriff's department on Thursday. She really needs the job. It pays double what she makes now. What I'm trying to say is there aren't many opportunities for her out there. If I don't help my mom with the route Janie will surely be manipulated into doing so. Then she won't be fresh for her interview. What should I do? I feel stuck. I want to help Janie, but I don't want to reward deceit and manipulation in my mother. Plus, who the fuck wants to get up and roll papers at 1:00 a.m.? Shit, Shit, Shit.
