Father's day...oh shit...

Well last weekend in between all of the fighting I got a phone call from my step mother. Now normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but my step mother has NEVER called me on the phone since...well forever. So keep in mind that I'm in a state of shock here...

Pam: Hi, Hon.
Me: (((flatly))) Hi.
Pam: I was thinking that Father's Day is coming up.
Me: yeah.....((((waiting for her to drop the bomb))))
Pam: Well Meagan (my half sister) is flying home and Erica and Rachel will already be in town....I thought that you might drive up.
Me: Michael has a second job and won't be able to go.
Pam: Well I'll buy you an airline ticket.
Me: I'm afraid to fly by myself.
Pam: I just thought it would be nice to have all you girls together.
Me: Let me think about it. I need to talk it over with Michael. I'll call you tomorrow.

So after racking my brain and great torment...I decided to go. I do love my father even though it doesn't seem probable that he's going to get any father of the year awards. So I agreed to go.

Fast Forward to today******

I woke up this morning and was getting ready to go to the Y. I decided to check my email and this is what I found....

Hey girls, I was thinking.............I know, scary thought!................that it would be nice to have a picture taken Saturday while you are all here. I thought it would be neat to have Daddy in the middle surrounded by all his girls. What do ya think? We could all wear jeans and sneakers with maybe a light pink top (or pick a color that everybody has) and Daddy can wear a black or blue or some color different from us. Let me know ASAP if you're agreeable and I'll book an appointment. Love you Mom

As you can see I already want to die....
I don't own a pink shirt. Shit, I only have two pairs of jeans. Oy....what the hell did I get myself into? And then....my step sister Erica's response:

Sounds good to me. Pink is fine. Did you want the girls in it? If so, they have pink shirts as well. Also, what time were you thinking Sat? I thought dad and Meag and Nina were going shooting. Are you talking after that? If so, nap time is a consideration . Let me know.

I'm assuming by shooting she means trap shooting. I'm sure they aren't planning their own demise...hehehehe. I have only fired a gun once in my life. It was about three or four years ago. I went trap shooting with my dad and Michael. My sister Meagan has been several times though. I guess me and Meg are the tomboys. Oh, well. I was rather hoping for a nice ride on my dad's Harley....and I'm not wearing a fucking pink shirt while I do it.

I told Michael about all this and the fucker starting laughing at me. We agreed that I should go topless in the family photo so I can remain the black sheep. What do ya think?

I would prefer pink just to emphasize the "girl" aspect around the one male
if that's okay. Also, would prefer no tank tops, spaghetti straps, nor
prints.......I know......I'm a real pain! Megs said Old Navy had shirts on
sale 2 for $12.

As far as time.......does 10:00 work? Rach, I'll go earlier if you'll be
up.
