Vegas
Michael and I just got home from Vegas. We pretty much lost our ass, however it was a really great trip. I don't know if I mentioned that we were meeting my half-sister and one of my step-sisters. I am not very close to them. Actually, I don't really even know them all that well. I thought this trip might be a little awkward. It was a blast though.
Friday I dehaired my sinks and cleaned up a little. I packed all of our stuff and picked Michael up from work. We drove up in about 5 hours. It would have been quicker but some fucktards were on the road. We arrived at the Hilton and began drinking and gambling. I have already seen all the sights so that is pretty much all I do in Vegas. Rachel (step-sister) seemed game for just about anything. She had arrived earlier and had lost a lot of money on slots. I tried to convince her that blackjack was the way to go. She watched Michael and I play for a couple of hours and decided she would play the following morning when there were some $5.00 tables. Meagan (half-sister) seemed totally bored with the whole gambling thing. She said she had a headache and went up to the room. She went to bed pretty early.
Saturday Michael and I drove them up and down the strip. They wanted to go clubbing. That was not on the agenda for Michael and myself. They walked around going to various bars and shopping centers while Michael and I played at O'Shea's. We were kicking ass. I think I was up over a hundred dollars. Mind you this is on a $5.00 table. Rachel decided to give it a go. She did very well and decided slots are for suckers. We were so trashed when we left there. She drank a margarita by the yard and I don't know what the hell I was drinking. It was a good time. Meagan joined in and did well too. Later in the evening we went to some fine dining Italian restaurant at the Hilton. Michael and the girls seemed to like it. I can't remember much about it though. My taste buds were shot from all the White Russians and amaretto Sours. Still later we went to Mandalay Bay. Rachel really wanted to go to the Rum Jungle. I think I would of liked to go there. I definitely wasn't dressed appropriately though. All due to my lack of clothing. I told Meagan and her to go in and Michael and I would pick them up, but Meagan didn't want to go. She said her knee hurt and she didn't like techno. Rachel wouldn't go in by herself, so that was the end of that.
The two objectives for me this trip (besides get plastered and have fun) were to go to The Red Square and to Noble Roman's. I am a huge vodka fan. I have wanted to go to Red Square for a long time. I was way too fucked up though to enjoy it, so we decided to go on Sunday instead.
Michael and I went after we dropped the girls off at the airport. They didn't open until five. We decided we would come back then. We never made it. We got hammered. So that is still on my Vegas to do list.
The second objective was met. I absolutely love Noble Roman's breadsticks with cheese sauce. The cheese sets them apart. I don't normally eat such crap, but it was delicious.
Sunday Michael and I got our asses handed to us at the blackjack tables. In the evening I decided that I wanted to play let it ride. I won! I got a flush and won like $180.00. Spirits renewed we decided to walk over to the Stardust to play $5.00 bj. I was kicking ass and taking names. I was so hammered too. Michael did well too.
Monday, as usual, I didn't want to leave. Michael almost always has to take me away kicking and screaming. We played in the morning and ate some comped meals.
I drove home in the pouring rain wondering what was going on with all my blogging friends. I was looking forward to being connected again.
Michael and I were impressed with our ability to go without sleep. I think the total hours slept in 72 hours were 15.5. We had a lot of fun. Next weekend we are going to California. I can't wait. Why the hell did we wait so long to go on vacation?
